With Google Arts & Culture users can visit top exhibits, zoom in on artworks in mind-blowing detail, and browse thousands of stories, photos, videos, and manuscripts. Find your favorites, create your own collections, and share them with friends. Travel anywhere with tours of iconic sites, famous buildings and natural wonders, on a screen or in virtual reality.

Google Arts & Culture has collaborated with over 1,200 museums, galleries, and institutions in 70 countries to make their exhibits available for everyone online. Users can take an “art selfie” to find matching museum portraits or play with jigsaw puzzles, an art coloring book, and a visual crossword puzzle. (Most features available on the mobile app, with some on the website.)

  • Some features are best experienced with a cardboard VR viewer. Purchasing a cardboard viewer may be difficult in some locations. (Many off-brand options are for sale outside of the United States, but these may be difficult to find.)

Why it’s helpful for families living internationally

Google Arts & Culture allows users to explore locations far away and experience artwork in many different places. It’s accessible in most places in the world and a wonderful way to play with and enjoy diverse pieces of art. View artwork where you live or where you are going. This is also a great tool for art research and information.
